Welcome to the Caucus for Evidence-Based Prevention

Never before in the 25-year history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic has there been a greater need to promote scientific evidence as a critical element of HIV prevention worldwide. The mission of the Caucus for Evidence-Based Prevention is to monitor the use of evidence in HIV prevention programs and policies, report on HIV prevention-related conference proceedings to a wide audience, and alert the community when ideology, prejudice, or opinion interfere with evidence-based approaches to reducing the further spread of HIV/AIDS.

NEW! Each day, several thousand paper copies of the Caucus newsletter are distributed at the conference to help highlight and defend evidence-based prevention. For those of you not in Mexico City, we're posting each day's newsletter - click here!

Through this website, the greater community will be able to access fact sheets about HIV prevention related issues, link to member organization resources, view key spokespersons on specific HIV prevention topics, and become apprised of upcoming Caucus and member organization events promoting evidence-based HIV prevention.
